We want your planning experience to feel simple, clear, and stress-free. Below are answers to some of our most commonly asked questions.

 
Booking & Availability

How do we reserve our date?
A signed agreement and a 25% non-refundable retainer are required to secure your date. Dates are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

How far in advance can we book?
We are currently booking a limited number of weddings for 2027. Peak dates, especially Saturdays, tend to reserve quickly.

 

Can we tour the property before booking?
Yes. Private tours are available by appointment. We highly recommend visiting the property to experience the setting in person.

 

Cancellations & Refund Policy

What is your cancellation and refund policy?
All payments made toward your event, including the initial retainer, are non-refundable. When you reserve a date, we remove that date from our calendar and turn away other inquiries. 

Can we reschedule our event?
If you need to reschedule, we will make every effort to accommodate a new date based on availability. Rescheduled events must take place within 12 months of the original date and may be subject to current pricing.

What happens if we cancel our event?
In the event of a cancellation, all payments made are retained. We strongly recommend purchasing event insurance to protect your investment.

Do you recommend event insurance?
Yes. Event insurance is highly recommended and may be required. It can provide coverage for unforeseen circumstances, including cancellations, vendor issues, or weather-related concerns.

Pricing & Payments

What is included in the rental price?
Your rental includes full-day access to the venue, ceremony space, reception area, bridal suite, groom’s lounge, tables, chairs, and access to the full property for photos.

 

Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Payments are structured in three installments:

  • 25% at booking

  • 50% due 6 months prior

  • Final balance due 30 days before your event

 

Are there any hidden fees?
No. We are transparent with our pricing. Additional costs only apply if you choose optional upgrades or rentals.

Event Details

How long is the rental period?
2027 full venue weddings include full-day access.
2026 tent events are limited to 4 hours.

What time do events need to end?

  • Friday & Saturday: 11:00 PM

  • Weekdays & Sunday: 10:00 PM

 

Can we have both the ceremony and reception onsite?
Yes. Bloom is designed to host both your ceremony and reception in one seamless, beautiful location.

 

Vendors & Services

Do we have to use your vendors?
No. We offer an open vendor policy. You are welcome to bring your own vendors, provided they are licensed and insured.

Do you have a preferred caterer?
Yes. We proudly partner with The Speckled Pear, who offers thoughtfully curated, customized menus tailored to your event. Their team is familiar with our property and delivers an exceptional experience from start to finish.

 

Do you provide a vendor list?
Yes. We offer a curated list of preferred vendors who are familiar with our property and provide excellent service.

 

Is there a coordinator included?
We do not include a coordinator, but we strongly recommend hiring a day-of coordinator to ensure a smooth event.

 

Can we serve alcohol?
Yes. Alcohol is permitted through licensed and insured vendors. Additional details and requirements will be outlined in your agreement.

Guest Experience

How many guests can you accommodate?

  • 2026 Tent Events: Up to 120 guests

  • 2027 Full Venue: Capacity will expand with indoor space

Is parking available onsite?
Yes. Onsite parking is available for your guests, designed for convenience and easy access to the venue.

Is the venue private?
Yes. Bloom at Dobys Pond is a private property, ensuring your event feels intimate and exclusive.

 

Weather & Contingency

What happens if it rains?
Our tent and indoor event spaces provide coverage and flexibility, allowing your event to continue comfortably regardless of weather.

Final Details

When can vendors arrive?
Vendor access times will be coordinated in advance to ensure a smooth setup and event flow.

Can we take engagement or bridal photos onsite?
Yes. We offer scheduled photography sessions and would love for you to capture your special moments at Bloom.
