Your wedding day deserves more than a shared banquet hall and a 2-hour time slot. At Bloom at Dobys Pond, the entire 12-acre property is exclusively yours from the moment you arrive. No other events. No strangers. Just you, the people you love, and a waterfront setting unlike anything else near Charlotte.

Nestled in Fort Mill, SC — just 25 minutes from Uptown Charlotte and 15 minutes to Ballantyne — Bloom offers a natural, intimate backdrop where every detail feels intentional and every moment feels like yours.

How Your Day Unfolds

From the ceremony to the last dance, Bloom is designed so your celebration flows naturally from one beautiful space to the next.

The Ceremony

Begin at the water’s edge. Our open waterfront deck sits directly over the pond, framed by sky and nature with nothing to distract from the moment. A 50×30 ft. manicured turf area adjoins the deck for larger ceremonies, giving you plenty of room for your guests and your processional.

Cocktail Hour

As you steal away for photos, your guests gather on the patio beside our 18-foot illuminated fountain — glowing in whatever color you choose. Drinks flow, conversations bloom, and the backdrop practically takes photos on its own.

The Reception

As evening settles, the celebration moves beneath our 30’ × 70’ white pole tent with clear windowed sides. Warm, glowing, and open to the landscape around it — this is where dinner is served, toasts are raised, and the dance floor comes alive. Tables and chairs for up to 75 guests are included, with capacity for up to 100.

Evening & After-Party

Wind down around the private firepit with your closest family and friends. The softly lit fountain reflects across the water as the night stretches on. It’s the perfect ending to a perfect day.

Capacity

Our standard tent package seats up to 75 guests comfortably, with standing/cocktail capacity up to 100. Need more room? We can expand with additional rentals:

75–120 guests: +$1,500 (includes additional tables, chairs, and restroom facilities)
120–150 guests: +$3,000 (includes bathroom trailer, tables, and chairs)

Bloom opens in July 2026. We are offering Founding Season pricing for a limited number of 2026 events before our full venue opens in 2027. This is a rare opportunity to celebrate at a new venue at below-market rates — and to be among the first couples to call this place their own.

Vendors & Catering

We welcome outside vendors at Bloom at Dobys Pond. We believe the best wedding is one where you work with the people you trust most. Bring your own caterer, florist, DJ, and photographer — we just ask that all vendors are licensed, insured, and introduced to us at least 60 days before your event.

Food & Catering

Your caterer must be a licensed, insured business or reputable restaurant. Outside food and catering are welcome. We provide refrigerator and freezer access on the day of your event.

Bar Service & Alcohol

Bloom at Dobys Pond permits outside alcohol for private events. All alcohol must be served by a licensed and insured bartending service in compliance with South Carolina law. Hosts are responsible for coordinating alcohol service with an approved vendor. Please inquire for full details.

Venue Guidelines

To preserve the beauty and natural environment of Bloom at Dobys Pond, the following are not permitted:

Confetti, glitter, or loose décor
Helium balloons (balloon arches are welcome!)
Open flames unless approved
Items attached to structures or trees
Throw items (rice, flower petals, etc.)
Unlicensed alcohol service
Fireworks or drones without prior approval
Feeding wildlife, ducks, or the resident blue heron (except with approved feed)
